Associated Potato Growers is a cooperative of 17 potato farmers in North Dakota and Minnesota, located in the Red River Valley. This area’s fertile soil is ideal for growing red and yellow potatoes. In fact, the soil in the Red River Valley is so special that potato crops in the area do not require irrigation. All told, the 17 farms that make up Associated Potato Growers farm more than 5,000 acres of fresh red and yellow potatoes. To see the operation in action, check out their Facebook page.
