The West family has traveled the world in search of the latest agricultural techniques and technology. Sometimes their exploration inspired them to adopt new equipment and systems, and other times they found that less was more. One constant they noted was the importance of sustainable practices.

Their research led them to “environmental growing methods that stress natural controls rather than a reliance on chemicals and fertilizers.” The family embraced green agriculture and discovered the approach is not only good for the environment but good for business.

Under the stewardship of the Wests, the farm – now four generations in – has flourished. What began as a 5-acre plot back in 1929 has grown into an advanced operation that spans more than 5,000 acres.
